About Me

I am a foreign language teacher. It is not only my job but also vocation. I completed my studies in Russian Philology in 2006, as well as my master's degree in English language teaching in 2011. This year, I have also completed TESOL at the University of Arizona. I constantly strive to expand my skills and knowledge. Traveling and living in the United States for several years have made me realise the importance of language learning and have instilled in me love for teaching.

I have been working in this profession for 15 years. I organise both individual and group courses. My students primarily consist of teenagers and adults. I offer small-scale translations as well as preparation for standardised exams.

Individual language lessons/courses in English or Russian focus on comprehensive development of all language skills, including writing, speaking, listening, and reading, necessary for effective communication in everyday and professional situations. Various teaching methods and techniques are employed during the classes. The lesson topics depend on your specific needs. An individual course can be a great aid in an exam preparation, writing presentations, reviewing specific vocabulary or grammar topics, or simply for those who prefer smaller groups and prefer having the teacher's undivided attention.

Matura

This is a course designed for individuals intending to take the secondary school leaving exam (matura) at either the basic or extended level. The lessons focus on reviewing grammar material, completing exam tasks, and preparing for oral exam tasks. During each session, participants have the opportunity to listen to recordings and practice listening exercises, analyze short written texts, and work on techniques for text analysis and written expression.

At the extended level, students work on all areas of the exam, including reading and listening comprehension, as well as writing and speaking tasks. Special attention is given to reviewing and expanding vocabulary, improving the ability to produce longer and more complex written and oral responses, reinforcing lexical and grammatical structures, and developing strategies useful for the exam.

Egzamin ósmoklasisty - final exams for students of primary school

These classes are intended for students in grades 6-8 of primary school. Participants have the opportunity to catch up on any gaps in grammar and vocabulary knowledge. Once the deficiencies are addressed, the focus shifts to exam preparation, practicing lexical and grammatical tasks, reading comprehension, listening exercises, and writing blogs and emails.

Business English

The BUSINESS ENGLISH course aims to provide practical language knowledge and develop skills that are useful in a professional setting. The classes are designed for individuals with at least an intermediate level of English proficiency. The goal is to educate participants in conducting business conversations, engaging in telephone conversations, preparing presentations, discussing reports and analyses, conducting negotiations, and writing business letters, notes, and messages.

English In Medicine/ Dentistry

This course is designed for students in medical fields and healthcare professionals who are preparing for English language exams or aiming to expand their knowledge of medical terminology in English.

The course focuses on developing language skills specific to the medical field. It covers topics such as medical vocabulary, terminology, and expressions commonly used in medical settings. Participants will engage in exercises and activities that enhance their ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and medical professionals in English. Additionally, the course may include practicing medical case discussions, interpreting medical texts, and writing medical reports or documentation

The aim is to equip students and healthcare professionals with the language skills necessary to navigate the medical field in an English-speaking context and to enhance their overall proficiency in medical English.

Conversations

These are conversational classes designed for intermediate to advanced learners. The aim of these classes is to develop practical communication skills in the English language, utilizing a wide range of vocabulary from various aspects of life. Conversations typically revolve around specific themes such as travel, politics, culture, current events, etc. However, the topics can also be tailored to your specific needs or profession. The classes can be conducted in groups or on an individual basis. It is a great opportunity to enhance your English language proficiency. During the conversations, we not only practice fluency and expand our vocabulary but also improve accuracy and elevate the level of proficiency.

Russian Language Classes
